Situation Analysis Provide an IT strategy and idealized design of a future state IT organization and prioritized list of initiatives that were in line with the overall goals and objectives of the organization. The client lacked the program management and execution expertise to overhaul a mass-customized, one-to-one customer facing web origination portal. Consulting Services Provided visioning and program management of a three phase overhaul of a $7MM+ customer facing loan origination web development effort. Directed all phases from ideation through development, commercialization, deployment and post deployment analysis and transition. Led an IT Strategy initiative to assess the enterprise IT department including current state, IT organizational capabilities, enterprise architecture and project management effectiveness all in an effort to define the ideal future state of the same. The current state assessment was considered to be the baseline for the IT Future State and a priority list of initiatives was employed based on the recommendations presented. Outcomes The current state and future state findings were fully accepted as recommended. The web-originations portal was accomplished on time and to budget while managing exogenous factors such as federal legislation impacting the student lending market sector. The web-originations portal was the primary vehicle to help the client be first in their market for the most commonly utilized financial products. |
